Staff Accountant Associate

The Staff Accountant Associate’s primary responsibility is to support two Staff Accountants. Majority of
tasks relate to making journal entries, compiling information, and special projects.

Supporting two Staff Accountants and their stores
• Prepare monthly reclass journal entries
• Prepare monthly allocation journal entries
• Assemble accruing journal entries
• Create balance sheet reconciliation documentation
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Assemble P&L with current month internally submitted numbers
• Update the Market Analysis report during close
• Review teams’ final P&Ls for accuracy – including bonus review
• Work on special projects as requested
• Journal entry scanning
• Assist in preparing monthly store expense sheets
• Assist in P&L variance research

Education: Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent hours required (consideration will be given
to candidates completing this requirement within the next 6 months).

Experience: 1 year experience in accounting with a multi-unit operation is preferred, but not required

Computer Skills: Proficient with Excel and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft AX Dynamics, Hyperion
(including Essbase), and Cadency Certification is a plus but not required.
